Troubleshooting for the Personal Check Reorder
Link
Browse the list of linking problems and possible
solutions below.
What's wrong?

I can't enter the name of my Web
site in Step 4 of the Linking Wizard.
The Linking Wizard limits the Web site name to 40
characters. The content you enter will appear as a text link. Short text
links are easy to read and don't conflict with your site design.
I don't know how to make a customized
link on my Web site.
You can make a customized link to Deluxe. For example,
you could make the link look like a button on your site by changing the
code generated by the Linking Wizard. However, you must follow Deluxe
logo and branding guidelines.
Here's what to do:
- Go to the Linking
Wizard and select the first image.
- Complete the rest of the steps as instructed and
click Submit.
- Steps 5 through 7 of the Linking Wizard appear.
- Do not complete Step 5.
- Make your own button or image. Then save your
customized image in your images folder.
- Edit the HTML code by replacing the Deluxe image
name with your image name.
- Check that you entered your image name in the
code correctly. In the example below, the image name is highlighted
in red.
For example:
<a href="http://www.deluxe-check-order.com
/?url=www.yourwebsite.com&urltext=Return%20to%20My%20Financial%20Institution"><img
src="/images/personal-checks1.gif" width=160
height=75 border=0 alt="Reorder Deluxe Personal Checks"></a>

I chose an image for
my link in Step 1 of the Linking Wizard, but I don't see it on my Web page.
Here's what to do:
- Confirm that you saved the image in the "images" folder on your server.
Look in your images folder for the image. In the example below, the
image name is highlighted in red.
- Make sure the image name is correct in your HTML code. In the example
below, the image name is highlighted in red.
For example:
<a href="http://www.deluxe-check-order.com/?url=www.yourwebsite.com&urltext=Return%20to%20My%20Financial%20Institution"><img
src="/images/personal-checks1.gif" width=160
height=75 border=0 alt="Reorder Deluxe Personal Checks"></a>
- If the image suddenly disappeared from your Web page, you may have
used a new HTML editor, for example Microsoft FrontPage or Macromedia
DreamWeaver. This may have altered the original HTML code. Review your
HTML code or use the Linking
Wizard to generate a new link.
|
| I put a link to Deluxe-check-order.com
on my site, but the link doesn't work. |
- The link should go to www.deluxe-check-order.com. If the link does
not work, delete your code and use the Linking
Wizard to generate a new link.

Note: We have recently
changed some of our URLs. Check that your links are up-to-date. If you
are linking to an old page on our site, your visitors will be redirected
to our home page.

The link from my site to Deluxe-check-order.com
works, but the link back to my site is missing.
- Make sure you entered your Web site URL correctly in Step 3 of the
Linking
Wizard. The return link should appear in two places, on Deluxe-check-order.com's
home page and on the logon page.
- If you can't see the return link, delete your
code and use the Linking
Wizard to generate a new return link.
Note: To test your
return link, you must click the link to www.deluxe-check-order.com on
your site. This link then takes you to www.deluxe-check-order.com where
you should see the link back to your Web site.
I entered my Web site URL in Step
3, but the link doesn't go to my site.
- Check the HTML code to make sure you entered your Web site URL correctly.
For example, see the URL highlighted in red below.
For example:
<a href="http://www.deluxe-check-order.com /?url=www.yourwebsite.com&urltext=Return%20to%20My%20Financial%20Institution"><img src="/images/personal-checks1.gif" width=160 height=75 border=0 alt="Reorder
Deluxe Personal Checks"></a>
- If your Web site URL is incorrect, fix your URL in the HTML code or
use the Linking
Wizard to generate a new link.
I entered my Web site name in Step
4, but it's incorrect.
