Deluxe employees in several communities volunteer their time to Junior Achievement, a nonprofit dedicated to teaching students about the global economy. Deluxe’s support for Junior Achievement takes a variety of forms, including annual grants from the Deluxe Foundation, which has totaled over $1.3 million since 1992.
Deluxe has a longtime partnership with the Upper Midwest chapter of Junior Achievement, through which the Deluxe Foundation awarded a $50,000 grant for the chapter’s new building. Deluxe has a shop in the organization’s new BizTown, a state-of-the-art learning facility, which offers thousands of students each year a hands-on experience to learn about business and the economy.
Deluxe employees also play a major role in supporting Junior Achievement. For two decades, Deluxe volunteers in Shoreview, Minn., have filled classrooms at a local elementary school to teach the age-appropriate Junior Achievement curriculum. Deluxe employees regularly teach in dozens of classrooms and bring the basics of small business and entrepreneurship to hundreds of students. Deluxe employees also raise funds by participating in the organization’s annual bigBowl events and other efforts such as the annual “JA in a Day.”
Deluxe has a long history of partnering with the American Red Cross to help the organization prepare for natural disasters and other crises. Experts at FEMA estimate that for every dollar spent on disaster preparedness, we save $4 in crises-response costs. Deluxe is proud to support this vital organization.
Deluxe communities make it convenient for employees to donate blood by coordinating on-site blood drives to and creating fundraisers such as bake sales and water
