Nonprofit organizations that have obtained a tax-exempt status under section 501(c)(3) or 509(a)(1), (2), or (3) and that meet the grant focus areas are encouraged to apply for a grant from the Deluxe Corporation Foundation. The Foundation accepts grant proposals from qualifying nonprofit organizations that serve the Greater Twin Cities, Atlanta, Kansas City, Fort Worth, Chicago and Newark areas in which Deluxe facilities are located. National-level non-profit organizations are also encouraged to apply.

Nonprofit organizations that are ineligible for a grant include:

  • Religious organizations
  • Pre schools
  • K-12 schools (public, private or charter)
  • Libraries
  • Colleges or universities
  • Civic club or other membership organization
  • Political, labor, or fraternal organization

Employee Resource Group (ERG) Grants

In 2024, the Deluxe Foundation introduced a new grant strategy to foster diverse and inclusive environments by harnessing the collective power of employee resource groups (ERGs) to create authentic, community-led impact. Each of Deluxe’s 8 ERGs will identify and establish relationships with nonprofit organizations working on social issues relevant to their communities. Their insight into specific issues can ensure that grant funding is directed to deserving initiatives that are meaningful to ERG members, employees and the commuities in which we live and work. Employee resource groups are voluntary, employee-led groups brought together by a common interest, membership in a protected class, or shared experience. Currently, Deluxe has 8 ERGs:

  • African-American
  • AVID (Awareness for Visible & Invisible Disabilities
  • Hispanic
  • Parents

  • PIMA (Pacific Islander Middle-Eastern Asian)
  • Pride+
  • Veterans
  • Women

Grant Applications

The Deluxe Corporation Foundation will be accepting grant applications for one grant cycle each year and will be open from April 1 - August 31, 2025. Applicants will be able to identify an ERG(s) to review the application for funding/partnership opportunities.

Employee Giving Program

The Deluxe Foundation supports our employees giving by matching employee, retiree and board of directors eligible donations dollar-for-dollar up to $2,000 per person per year.

Qualifying nonprofit organizations must have an IRS/CRA tax-exemption status as a 501(c)(3) or T3010 (e.g, Colleges and K-12 schools, youth programs, Red Cross, United Way chapters, health organizations, arts organizations, animal rescue groups). All employee match requests and decisions are considered final by The Deluxe Corporation Foundation.
