Paula Drake

Paula Drake is the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer for Regions Bank. As a member of the bank’s Executive Leadership Team, Paula oversees a team of 120 associates responsible for enterprise marketing and communication strategy and execution, which includes advertising, media, sponsorships, market research and customer insights as well as social media, associate communications and reputation management. Regions Financial Corporation (NYSE:RF), with $154 billion in assets, is a member of the S&P 500 Index and is one of the nation’s largest full-service providers of consumer and commercial banking, wealth management, and mortgage products and services. Regions serves customers across the South, Midwest and Texas, and through its subsidiary, Regions Bank, operates approximately 1,250 banking offices and more than 2,000 ATMs.

Prior to joining Regions in 2020, Paula spent eight years with The Home Depot in a variety of leadership roles, including corporate and executive communications director. She managed senior leadership communications as well as internal and external communications related to Investor Relations and Mergers & Acquisitions. She launched and managed communications programs for an online newsroom and The Home Depot Foundation. Prior to her work at The Home Depot, Paula was public relations manager at UPS where she led strategic publicity campaigns and media opportunities, launched a UPS pressroom and led production of the company’s first sustainability report. She also worked at a PR firm after spending five years in government relations, working for both the Lakeland, Fla., Chamber of Commerce and the Florida House of Representatives.

Drake holds a Bachelor of Science from Shorter College and a Master of Arts from the University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism & Mass Communication.
