Alan Jackson has over 40 years of experience working in the financial services industry serving community banks. His roles have included chief financial officer, consultant, software development, financial management and audit attestation.
Before re-joining the Banker’s Dashboard team at Deluxe to lead product development, Alan served as Chief Financial Officer of Capital Bank and Capital Bancshares, Inc. from 2017 to 2023. Less than a year from joining Capital, Alan led the management team in a successful IPO, NASDAQ listing and inclusion in the Russell 3000. Prior to joining Capital, he was a Senior Managing Director in the Consulting Division with FinPro Inc., advising bank clients on topics from asset liability management, strategic planning and financial management to various aspects of regulatory compliance. Previously he was Chief Financial Officer for several community banks, including two de-novos (High Country Bank and Tidelands Bank) and has provided leadership to two leading business intelligence software vendors focused on the banking industry. Throughout his banking career, Alan has been intimately involved in all facets of community bank management — from inception to growth — in addition to mergers and acquisitions.
Alan is also a CPA and has a Masters of Accountancy, with at concentration in Information Systems and Operations Research from Virginia Tech.
