Kristen Saranteas is Treasury Management Services Executive at First Citizens Bank. In this role, Kristen is responsible for all sized business clients’ end-to-end cash flow product experience from point of proposal, product selection and management, through onboarding and ongoing support.
Kristen has more than 30 years of treasury management experience. She joined First Citizens in 2021 from First Midwest Bank (now Old National Bank) in Chicago, where she served in a similar role. At First Citizens, she has bolstered the treasury management services organizational structure and brought together the expertise of colleagues from recent mergers, resulting in continued collaboration and enhanced support for clients.
In 2017, Kristen was named one of the Most Influential Women in Banking by Crain’s Chicago Business and is a considered one of the industry’s thought leaders, frequently speaking to audiences throughout the nation.
As important as she finds making a difference within the treasury management and payments space, Kristen is equally as passionate about serving the community. She currently serves on the YMCA of the Triangle Area Board of Director’s Finance Committee and is also an Enterprise Inclusion Champion that supports the success of the First Citizens Bank’s Business Resource Groups. While in Chicago, Kristen served on the board for City Year Chicago for over 15 years, most recently as the Vice Chair. Kristen is proud to have been a Fellow since 2020 for Leadership Greater Chicago and was involved in other community organizations, including Foundations of Music, Working in the Schools (WITS) and Chicago Cares. She was also the President of Miami University Alumni Association’s Board of Directors, with her term ending in 2023.
