Michael Bradford is a seasoned payments industry professional with over 20 years of experience, having held multiple leadership roles at Deluxe Merchant Services (formerly First American Payment Systems). He began his career with a focus on credit, risk management, and operations, and now serves as Executive Vice President of Operations.
In this role, Michael drives initiatives that create a more efficient and cost-effective organization. His leadership has been instrumental in evolving the company’s digital points of entry — most notably the onboarding platform, which has streamlined the merchant application process, enhanced the user experience, and delivered scalable solutions that grow alongside customer needs. He has also played a key role in the development and rollout of the Deluxe Payments Platform, a comprehensive suite of solutions designed to serve the diverse needs of businesses.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Michael is deeply committed to cultivating a culture of trust among his colleagues and teams, and he brings an enduring passion for the industry. He has served on the Electronic Transactions Association’s Risk, Fraud & Security Committee and contributed to the development of best practices guides for merchant and ISO risk through the Association of Payment Professionals (formerly the Merchant Acquirers’ Committee).
Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of North Texas.
