My name is Zach Ratcheson. I'm the director of consumer marketing and small business out of Synovus Bank in Columbus, Georgia.
Working with Deluxe
So I've been with Synovus a little over five years, and I've worked with Deluxe since day one. We do a lot of, obviously, a lot of direct mail, focusing on consumer acquisition, also small business acquisition. We do, trigger-based campaigns so that we are very timely in reaching consumers when they move they have a life event. We do CD mailings. So we're we do a lot of things in this rate environment to really try and get our rates out across our five-state footprint. They have been the ideal partners and helping us not only just get campaigns out the door, but to better understand customers understand our data better than we probably understand it ourselves and troubleshoot problems as they come up.
Attracting New Deposits
I would say that our ability to attract new deposits that has been a really big thing in this environment. So through our different campaigns, the CD campaigns, the small business banking campaigns, the new acquisition campaigns for checking customers, helping us get those new deposits from the right customers. Just any customers, but customers who really have money available to them and are looking for a place to put that money.
The Value of a Partner
That's not that they're fair-priced. It's not that they provide good service. It's the whole solution. It's the understanding of our customers, it's the creative delivery it's execution of the campaigns, it's helping us understand the results of our own campaigns. And then identifying the next steps to help make sure that we have a strategy in place throughout to try and win in this very competitive market.
