Episode 5: Polka Dot Parlor

Paulette Kirk Kasmer opened her own shop in Bristol Borough to fill a need that she saw for clothing and accessories in her home town. With a goal of empowering women to feel comfortable with what they purchase and to feel comfortable with themselves, Polka Dot Parlor has created a space women of all ages can go to and shop for clothing and accessories. With online shopping and big box competition, retail stores are some of the hardest to open, but they help keep main streets alive.

In episode five, Amanda Brinkman heads to the edgy Polka Dot Parlor with Lynne Robertson, CEO and owner of retail agency Fame to help Paulette organize her store in a way that is inviting and less cluttered. Robert Herjavec sits down with Paulette to provide insight into inventory and employee management. Watch as the Deluxe team develops an updated website, email marketing advice, packaging and a new storefront in hopes that Polka Dot Parlor will become a shopping destination in the area.
