Miguel Velez III used to come to the Riverside Barber Shop as a child, so when the opportunity arose to purchase it, he couldn’t pass up the chance. At his barber shop, haircuts and styles are an artform and everything is “on point.” But he has hit a plateau in his tiny space. Although he holds immense pride in what he does, he needs to take his barber shop to the next level and he believes expansion is the key to success.

Amanda Brinkman, along with Lynne Robertson, CEO and owner of retail agency Fame, step in to help Miguel convert an expansion into dollars for the business. Robert Herjavec provides Miguel with advice on how to grow his revenue and start paying himself. In episode 3, Deluxe shows Miguel the true value of branding and a new website with added testimonials, as well as merchandise to add to his bottom line. With a hiccup in his expansion, watch to see how the town leaders of Bristol Borough rally behind Miguel to get him out of his plateau and onto creating a successful business.
