Sending an eCheck means your payment is delivered instantly. Seconds after you hit send, they’ll be notified by email that a printable Deluxe eCheck is waiting for them to retrieve and print via secure link.

Just like with a traditional check, there are no fees attached to an eCheck. Once printed, your recipient can simply deposit it just like any other check.

No Account Required

To receive an eCheck, all a payee needs is an email address. The check will be sent in a one-time view/print PDF which they’ll simply open, print and deposit as they would any other check. To unlock additional benefits and features, there is an option for them to create their own eChecks account but it’s not required to receive payment.

Safe, Secure Fraud Prevention

Our proprietary approach based on patented technology allows companies and banks to help reduce fraud by easily verifying the authenticity of each eCheck. Customers and financial institutions using our Check Validation service can confirm at any time that an authorized Deluxe eCheck was created by a user of the system and that the check has remained unaltered since creation. This service can assist in catching and stopping fraudulent checks before they enter the banking ecosystem.

1. Receive & retrieve

Recipients and payees receive a notification email that contains a secure link to their check. All they need to do is click the green box to retrieve it.

2. Print

First-time recipients can view a quick introduction that answers common questions about eChecks. Otherwise, they’re free to preview the check through a secure online portal. Your bank account and routing numbers are hidden until the eCheck is printed from any home or office printer, on plain white paper, at any time within 90 days of receipt. No need for recipients to ever enter their banking information and no fees or obligations to receive their payments.

3. Deposit

After cutting along the dotted line and endorsing the back, the recipient can deposit the eCheck with their bank or credit union via ATM or using Remote Deposit Capture on a smartphone. When available, if the recipient needs access to an eCheck payment even faster, they can opt in for those funds to be deposited to their bank account in minutes by using Instant Funds* powered by Hyperwallet.

*Majority of transactions will be funded within 30 minutes, but it could take up to 2 business days. The funds availability timing for the initial transaction will generally be indicative of future transactions for the account you set up. A small fee will be charged to the eCheck recipient for each eDeposit. Check clearing provided by our partner bank.

How do I receive a check?

When you’re notified by email that you’ve received a check, simply retrieve it from our secure online system by clicking the “open this check” button. Then, simply print it out on any printer and cash or deposit it just like a paper check. It’s free and no registration is required.

Will banks accept my Deluxe eChecks?

Yes. Deluxe eChecks are exactly like any other check accepted by your bank. If your bank does have questions, they can simply follow the directions on the check to verify its authenticity.

2. Print

Can I really just print a check from a regular printer?

Yes. Just like you can print airline and concert tickets from your own printer, now you can print your checks as well. Every Deluxe eCheck contains a digital fingerprint that cannot be forged and allows for easy verification.

3. Deposit

Does a Deluxe eCheck work with Remote Deposit Capture (RDC)?

Yes. Simply endorse the back of the check and you’re ready. Using your phone, mobile device or other optical reader, Deluxe eChecks can be easily processed.
